How it can wreck your health, wreck your family - leaving you exhausted, ill and defeated, feeling like you’re hardly living even though there are things in your life to be excited about. I’ve seen the shame of burnout, the lie that says you should be able to handle everything on your plate. The pressure to constantly do more, never feeling like it’s enough. I know deeply how it can steal your joy and creativity, wishing you could just fast forward until this phase is over.

And I know no one is meant to live this way.

  • Audio 3: Society pressure & human design: Burnout is passed down through expectations - from family, school, work, society, etc. Once you see that burnout didn’t start with you, it’s easier to let it go. We’ll also dive into my favorite personality test - human design. We’ll talk about how to uncover yours and what that means for your burnout.

  • Audio 4: Your to do list & sustainability: This is here to ground you, set you up for success to make this journey easy, simple & doable. I’ll show you how.

  • Audio 5: Pillar One - prioritize your joy: This is the first step to healing burnout. We’ll talk about how to do that even if you’re drowning.

  • Audio 6: Pillar Two - feeling your feelings: We’ll talk about what this means, why brains hate to do it and we’ll practice it together. You are not alone.

  • Audio 7: Meditation - waves of emotion: One of my favorite feelings exercises that you can do over and over with me.

  • Audio 8: Meditation - rage room: This is a client favorite. I’m excited for you to have it too!

  • Audio 9: Pillar Three - commit to the minimum: I’ll show you how to do this at work, at home, in your relationships. I’ll teach you how to carve out time and space for yourself in a way that will feel good to you.

  • Audio 10: Pillar Four - focusing on how far you’ve come: Brains don’t celebrate well. I’ll help you see the benefits of this and give you the science on why this works (and why we don’t do it more).

  • Audio 11: Catching your burnout cues: Because burnout is a habit, it’ll come up again in your life. This is not a problem, it’s actually a sign that you’re growing into your next level. We’ll plan for it together here.

  • Audio 12: Resentment: I’ll teach you the burnout cycle and the role that resentment plays in your burnout.

  • Audio 13: Our relationship to productivity: Because once you see where this comes from, it’ll kick that burnout to the curb.

I’m Liesl Drought.

One of my brain’s favorite habits is burnout. I’ve burned out working 60 hours a week. And I’ve burned out working 10 hours a week. I’ve burned myself out at home, in my relationships, as a mom, wife, daughter. You name it, I’ve gotten burntout by it lol

It doesn’t matter the industry or if you love your job or not. Burnout happens - and is encouraged by the hustle culture we’ve been raised in. And it’s why I’m so passionate about helping you feel better. So you can have a life that is more than work while still loving your work. So you can rest and breathe and have space for yourself.
